The majestic deity is well cast seated in dhyanasana with one hand in bhumisparsa mudra, the other resting in his lap in the gesture of meditation, richly gilt overall. Condition: Old wear and minor nicks here and there. Overall good condition. Bowl lost. Sealed, but the base plate likely a later replacement. Wearing an intricately executed robe gathered in cascading folds at the shoulder and at his ankles, his rounded face with downcast eyes, bow-shaped mouth flanked by long pendulous ear lobes, his hair arranged in tight curls rising to a domed ushnisha.
