Two Derby figures, various dates 18th century, comprising; a girl holding a fowl, from the pair known as the Italian Farmers, 21.5cm high and a model of a young sportsman holding a floral garland, emblematic of Spring from a series of 'The French Seasons', circa 1775, 24.5cm high Provenance: Private Collection, Wantage See Peter Bradshaw, 18th Century English Porcelain Figures 1745-95, (1981), pages 209 & 211 for both these models.
