A group of stone cylinder seals comprising: a large limestone seal with scenes of horse-taming and combat in two tiers; small schist seal with frieze including a winged figure holding a robed figure with staff, three quadrupeds and foliage in the field; Neo-Babylonian schist seal with standing figure holding a hooked implement and grasping the neck of a rearing winged horse, other figures in the field; slender haematite seal with frieze of figures in active poses beside ibexes, stars and other items; banded agate seal with phoenix(?) in flight seizing the rear legs of two oxen, three columns of cuneiform text; some possible contemporary copies; each accompanied by a museum-quality impression. 44.17 grams total, 20-33mm (1 1/4").
