A polished serpentine bowl with basal disc and everted rim; to the inner face, a series of inlaid flowers with three more on the base and four pellets; similar to the outer face with additional band of pellets around the disc; Canaanite or Hittite workmanship. 125 grams, 85mm (3 1/2"). From the private collection of a Canadian gentleman; from his father's collection formed 1965-1990.
