A VICTORIAN PATINATED SPELTER BUST OF LORD BYRON IN GREEK UNIFORM England, 19th century A three-quarter length dark brown patinated bust, portraying Lord Byron in Greek uniform, wearing an open shirt, a waistcoat decorated with Greek-inspired motifs and a cloak, supported by a cylindrical stand resting on a squared base, the back of the bust with the inscription 'Lord Byron' incised in cursive letters, with possibly an inventory or maker's mark and '2 PRIX', the underside of the base marked with the numbers '214' and '394' into the metal, 25cm high.
