ALEXANDER DERKACHENKO: A BOXWOOD NETSUKE OF A GOAT WITH BEER (KOZEL) By Alexander Derkachenko Ukraine, 2019 This work is Alexander Derkachenko’s interpretation of the famous Czech beer brand Velké Popovice “kozel”. The highlight of this work is not the beautifully depicted goat hair, not his expressive eyes, but a glass with foaming beer. It was amber that was best suited to convey the color, transparency and naturalism of a glass of beer (Derkachenko recommends not to taste it).
