Half-title, 4 engraved head and tailpieces, including vignette to title, 4 engraved plates, 9pp. index to rear. (Slight spotting to plate margins, corner cut from half-title, name excised from front pastedown.) 19th century black morocco bound by F. Bedford, five raised bands to spine, gilt lettering to the second compartment, repeating gilt design to the rest, t.e.g. (some rubbing to spine ends). Note: an illustrated and expanded adaption of Abbé Boileau's 'Historia Flagellantium', published in 1700. Provenance: George Clive, barrister and politician (bookplate to the front pastedown).
