An oak longcase clock by R Marshall, 18th century, the hood with scroll form cornice and beaded decoration, with arched glazed door flanked by half foliate turned columns, with conforming design to the trunk, on a tall plinth, the painted dial with Roman numeral chapter ring with pierced brass hands, with subsidiary dials for seconds and date, the dial painted with pheasant and spaniel spandrels and a shooting scene to the arch, with pendulum and weights, 217cm high There are splits to the door and plinth, loose mouldings are apparent, some retained, split to hood, the dial is in good condition, painting is good.
