年代:明 宋明时代崇古尚礼,初时大量仿制并使用商周铜器,而后按时代审美改造器型,器用也由祭祀扩大到日用。这场由皇室引领的复古崇礼之风,到徽宗时达到极致。使用铜器,成为既体现身份又彰显雅趣的时尚。只是,这样奢侈被随后的数度禁铜令遏制了。商品经济发达却遭遇了“钱荒”,无奈之下,皇室开始带头销毁铜器,融铜铸钱。宋明风格的审美文化是强烈的文人气质,对古铜器的热爱,对后世影响甚钜。明朝袁宏道称:尝见江南人家所藏旧觚,青翠入骨,砂斑垤起,可谓花之金屋;其次官、哥、象、定等窑,细媚滋润,皆花神之精舍也。插花入器,是人对花与器的生命的参与。花的灿烂因器凝固,器的生命因花延续。人乃过客,与有荣焉。王安石《新花》:流芳在须臾,吾亦岂久长。这件七层六棱铜花插融入宋明风格的审美,精巧、自然、闲适,毫不夸张搁在当时,这也是高规格的雅器,取园中花草随意胡乱摆弄,正是自得其乐。
