Portrait of the man to the right, wearing black clothes and a large white ruff. He has dark, slightly greyish hair and a full beard, a big nose and with his bright brown eyes he looks directly out of the picture. On the upper left a painted family crest with crowning armour helmet. Typical painting of the painter known for his portraits.
