Base stamped at the back with 800 fineness and two fantasy hallmarks.
Probably Hanau, end of 19th century.

Silver chased, cast, chased and partially gilded, ivory carved. The oblonge base with lobed leaf frieze and coat of arms on both sides with a rising lion. Base surface with naturalistically designed base and mounted figure of a harnessed warhorse and knight armed with a lance. The face is carved in ivory. (12208116) (2) (13)
