A MOTTLED CELADON JADE 'CHILONG COLLAR' SNUFF BOTTLE, QING China, 1750-1850. Well-hollowed with a narrow mouth, of compressed ovoid pebble form, carved in relief and cleverly utilizing a greyishbrown layer in the stone for a coiled 'chilong collar' around the small mouth, the translucent stone of a pale celadon tone with brownishblack flecks. Provenance: From a private collection, London, United Kingdom, acquired prior to 1995.
