Charles Cartier-Bresson was a French textile industrialist and the great-uncle of famous photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson. He amassed a significant collection of Far East Asian art, numbering 1,744 objects at the time of his death, many of which were bequeathed to the Musee des Beaux- Arts de Nancy. Condition: Minor nibbles to the lip have been smoothened, some natural fissures and erosion to the stone, otherwise in good condition.
