A SAXON ENAMEL PAINTED GLASS BEAKER, LATE 18th/EARLY 19th CENTURY, cylindrical, painted to one side with a coat of arms of crowned eagle gazing towards the sun's rays under a Latin motto, the obverse with the FR monogram under a crown. 10.25cm Provenance: The Chris Crabtree Collection, North Yorkshire. Note: The monogram appears to be for Friedrich Augustus I, Elector and later King of Saxony (1750-1827)
