Khorassan Incense Burner
in openwork metal in the shape of a mausoleum. The three feet are in the shape of a cat. The body is decorated with a peacock niche on each side surmounted by a votive frieze (with the exception of the back where a hole has been made to fit a handle). The upper part is decorated with scrolls and spirals alternating with bird medallions. Reddish and brown patina. (Open under the base. Small bumps. One foot detached)
