Portrait of Tsar Nicholas II (1901).
Oil on canvas, signed lower right " P. Potiechine " and dated
" 1901 ". Accidents, as is.
Our work was probably made after a portrait of
Tsarevich Nicholas Alexandrovich, future Nicholas II, since he is
in the uniform of the Guard's mounted artillery where he served in the
first battery of the first brigade in 1890. The ribbon of
his cross of St. Wladimir should be red and black and not
red and white.
