A mixed group of stone amulets and seals, comprising: eight Sassanian stamp seals, one Sumerian stamp seal; one lapis lazuli bead and one white marble duck amulet; supplied with a signed handwritten scholarly note by W.G. Lambert, late Professor of Assyriology, University of Birmingham, 1970-1993. 46 grams total, 11-35m (1/2 - 1 1/4"). From the property of a London gentleman; thence by descent; previously in an important private Mayfair, London, collection, acquired after 1970; accompanied by a scholarly report by Professor W.G.
