Description

清 白玉雙龍十二章圭璧 The jade tablet carved in the form of archaistic gui jade with both sides carved in shallow relief with decorations, all supported on cloisonne enamel stand. 玉圭以浮雕的十二章組合圖案為主紋飾，將日、月、星辰、山龍、華蟲等十二古人之象分兩組對稱排列，此為古代宮廷特有的代表符號和象徵，寓意江山永固，壽與天齊的美好含義。史載，皇帝冕服自舜帝起就服十二章，以後帝王皆承襲古法，歷數千年未變，十二章各有專紋，各有象徵。玉璧一面浮雕雙龍，形神威嚴，面對玉圭所雕十二章；另一面正中圓心內雕一龍，環壁浮雕隨風而動的穀穗，有歲歲平安之美意。下呈銅胎掐絲琺瑯鎏金海水紋底座，保存完整，非常難得。
