A carved grey sandstone female figure (Lakshmi?) wearing a sampot pleated vertically, broad belt slung from the hips; mounted on a custom-made stand. 6.4 kg total, 49cm with stand (19 1/4"). From a North West London collection; previously in a Cambridge collection formed in the 1980s.
