A pair of naturally formed gogottes, a sparkling mass of greyish-white sandstone with thick undulating rolling layers and swirls; mounted on custom-made display stands. 347 grams total, 11-12.3cm (4 1/4 - 4 3/4"). Property of a Brussels gallery; acquired on the European art market; from Fontainebleau, France. A pair of one of nature's rarest and most aesthetic rock formations. Each gogotte is unique, modelled by the movement of water beneath the sand dunes of Fontainebleau. [2]
