香盘为承放香道雅具之器，此件为清代玉盘的精品。盘为青白玉质，敞口，敛腹浅膛，平底内凹，磨制轻薄，玉料温润晶莹，洁净无暇。外壁极薄，光鉴可人，呈凝油脂光泽，玉作扁圆如皓月明空，盈盈圆圆，通体光素如一，线条流畅婉转。古有云：‘良玉不琢’，因其玉质本身完美无瑕，因此不饰一纹，保留天然美玉本身洁白纯净、莹润光泽之质。李白《古朗月行》中：‘小时不识月，呼作白玉盘 。又疑瑶台镜，飞在青云端。’其皎白似月之特质，正为本件精巧玉盘之批注。
