CARVED ROCOCO MIRROR,
Louis XV, Berne ca. 1755/60. Johann Friedrich Funk I (1706 - 1775).
Wood, finely carved with rocailles and blossoms, and gilt. Rectangular, shaped and moulded frame, with carved scrolled leaves and flowers.
H 135 cm, W 89 cm.

Losses in the gilding. Minor repairs.

The mirror on offer stands out by its slight asymmetry and the special design of the carved elements.
