A PAIR OF CHINESE SILVER TAZZE 2ND HALF 19TH CENTURY The stems formed as dragon-carp, each creature's upright tail supporting a shallow bowl decorated with panels enclosing dragons, figures and birds amidst prunus, bamboo and pine, each with an inscription encircling the foot reading 'Presented to Evan Ormiston Esq with Wei Wing Lock's/Hong's best wishes Hong Kong 7th October 1903', the feet with two punch marks, one for Wang Hing & Co, 17cm dia, 393g and 386g.
