A PAIR OF CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE 'DRAGON' BOTTLE VASES 19TH CENTURY Each decorated with two large iron-red dragons contesting a flaming pearl, the tall necks painted with the Eight Auspicious Buddhist Emblems (Bajixiang), with areas of detail highlighted in gilt, the base of each with a six character Kangxi mark in underglaze blue, 22.5cm. (2) Provenance: from an English private collection, purchased in the 1970s.
