A group of two papier maché vessels decorated with lacquer-work; one a lidded barrel pot with circular rings of foliage to the body, the background filled in with pink, yellow and gold flowers, a band of gold leaves to the bottom and to the rim of the lid; the other a circular bowl with concave walls and basal ring, lined with brass, decorated in the same style with hemispherical bands of gold foilage and floral designs. 825 grams, 14.5-28cm (5 3/4-11").
