Painted in underglaze-blue, probably by Johann Kaspar Ripp, with a large circular chinoiserie scene depicting two seated figures flanking a table with a teapot in a garden setting with pagodas in the distance, within concentric circles and a border of overlapping arches and scrolls, the rim decorated with a foliate trellis ground reserved with large flower panels alternating with smaller panels with beribboned auspicious objects, the reverse of the rim and inside of the footrim with concentric circles, 29cm across (restored)
