Attributed to Cornelis Pietersz Bega (Dutch, c. 1631-1664) Seated Woman, a Man Leaning into Her Lap Offering Her a Coin Signed or inscribed "Bega" l.r., attributed by George Way on the back of the frame. Oil on panel, 12 3/4 x 14 3/8 in. (32.0 x 36.5 cm), framed. Condition: Old retouch, heavily varnished, varnish inconsistencies, fine craquelure. Provenance: The estate of George Way.
