GABRIEL WEISMANN (1944-1997) Tadd's Delight signed G Weismann 1965 (on the stretcher), titled (on the canvas overlap) oil on canvas 259 x 152.8 cm (102 x 60 1/4 in) Tadd's Delight was completed in 1965 when Weismann was attending Chelsea Art School. The artist was known to create works while under the influence of phychedelic drugs. In the mid-sixties he created a series of LSD paintings, some of which were exhibited in France and England.
