2343 清末民国·王竹溪制并刻紫泥觚棱壶 款识:竹溪(盖款);阿曼陀室(底款);竹溪(刻款) 镌刻:棱可模,觚不觚,觚哉!觚哉!鸿图。辛亥夏五之月王竹溪刻。 说明:觚棱壶为紫砂壶型中较为经典的造型,其造型源于古代青铜器中的觚,后经紫砂匠人改良,形成“望之有棱,抚而无锋”的外形特点。无方不显圆,且方圆在美感上迥然不同,故觚棱壶的制作也更加不易,过圆则柔弱无力,过方则僵硬生涩。此件觚棱壶方中寓圆,圆中见方,四角圆转,过渡饱满,桥梁钮与壶身造型相呼应。盖内钤“竹溪”款,观壶身镌文落“王竹溪”刻款,尝见有刻“竹溪”款砂壶,此前多推测为吴月亭所制,而此壶盖款、刻款均为“竹溪”,可以推测“竹溪”姓“王”,故此器具有重要的数据价值。 LATE QING DYNASTY-REPUBLIC OF CHINA PERIOD A PURPLE CLAY TEAPOT MADE BY WANG ZHUXI 7.5×16.3cm RMB:15,000-25,000 款识简介:1. 王竹溪,清末民国紫砂艺人,刀法流利,擅制壶。 2. 阿曼陀室,为陈曼生房室名,在陈曼生自书的尺牍书页上,钤有“阿曼陀室”印章。民国李景康、张虹《阳羡砂壶图考》:“尝疑‘阿曼陀室’为曼生室名,而苦乏左证。去春因研究曼生书法,叶子次周出其尊甫所藏曼生墨迹尺牍十数通,牍尾赫然有‘阿曼陀室’印章,始知曩者所疑果获证实。或疑曼生去任(溧阳)后,以‘阿曼陀室’印贻彭年,故备一说”。
