自汉代始，狮子多被赋予辟邪的含义，唐宋辽金皆是如此。明代之后，狮子的象征含义发生了变化，不仅衍生出富贵、生财的含义，还被人们赋予了儿孙满堂及守护神等意味。皇家宫殿、官府、寺庙殿宇门前摆放铜狮，有威严、震慑四方之意。达官显贵家中门前摆放多用于镇宅化煞、旺权助运之用。此对狮子为精铜所铸吉祥陈设器，铸造精良，规格大小适中，气势威严，双狮额顶隆起，怒目圆睁，浓眉掀鼻，振鬓长啸。狮鬃盘旋如螺髻，密布于脑后。背部脊柱隆起，清晰可见。四肢健硕强劲，脚踏绣球或幼狮，姿态生动。铜狮下部为原配四方形须弥仰覆莲花宝座，雕刻入微，疏密有致。 品相良好
