Collection No. DG/1970/152 The globular jar is robustly potted and exuberantly painted with a continuous scene of dragon & floating aquatic plants depicted around the sides. A band of lotus plants is decorated underglaze yellow & red. There are few similar 'Tian' Jar was collected and displayed in Tokyo National Museum, Japan. 'QingLongTang' seal marks are on the bottom of the cover and jar. 'Daitoku-ji's collection' & 'TaiSyou Third year June, Koyama Nagjiro’s collection' Characters seal marks are on the bottom. Mr. Koyama Nagjiro, the founder of Japanese 'QingLong Tang' who also founded the Tokyo Art Club with Kawabuli Kichiro and Nezu Kaichiro in the 40s of the Meiji Era (1907). He was responsible for the ancient arts collection. The Tokyo Art Club went through four generations of Koyama family. And the Koyama family had a wealth of collections during this period, hence, became an important role in Japanese antiques collection. 本品胎体轻薄，直口，短颈，溜肩，腹下渐收，广底，底内署有“天”字楷书款。本品是成化御窑瓷器中的一件精品，附有原配圆形器盖。日本东京国立博物馆亦藏有一例和本品相似天字罐。罐底及盖附有“青龙堂”“大德寺龙X院藏”“大正三年六月，小山常次郎入藏” （小山常次郎，为日本人青龙堂创始人，明治40年（1907），与川布利吉氏和根津嘉一郎组建东京美术俱乐部，负责古美术，至今已历经小山常次郎 小山久，小山长成，小山建四代，小山家族收藏颇丰，在日本收藏界具有举足轻重的地位。） 附:日本木箱 来源：1日本大德寺龙X院藏 2日本大正三年六月（1914）小山常次郎入藏 3日本昭和十五年（1940）流出，收藏人不详 4戈尔德伉俪藏品 收藏编号DG/1970/152
