款识：中和堂制熏香的历史在我国由来已久，汉代著名的博山炉就是人们为熏香而设计的。香熏最初采用青铜为材料，起初只是为了熏香衣物、消除疲劳以及驱散蚊虫等。汉代以后，香熏的材质逐渐丰富起来，其用途也从一种实用器物，开始转变成为陈设或者把玩的观赏品。此件香熏，造型沉稳敦厚。器身以瓷为质，分炉盖、炉笼和炉身三部分，整体以珊瑚红为地，每层镂空雕刻六条夔龙，龙身腾挪扭转，龙头回望，呈威仪祥瑞之态，造型卷曲回转，流畅自如。盖钮饰菊花纹，边沿描金。炉口沿描金，其边沿回纹纹。象足下部饰以圆点纹。内部中空可置放香料，镂孔中透出香气。此件香熏造型独特，做工精湛，色调淡雅。
