Another version of our drawing is kept at the Kupfersticht Kabinett in Berlin (see the exhibition catalogue Rendez vous: Die französischen Meisterzeichnungen des Kupferstichkabinetts, 2019-2020, no. 86, repr.).
On the basis of a photograph, Mr. Laing thinks that our drawing is autograph, and that it seems to him to be the first version. We would like to thank Mr. Laing for his help in writing our notice.
