紫檀佛龕供銅鎏金佛九尊 The larger lower bulb with five gourd shaped niches, the smaller upper bulb with four similar niches, the surface incised with delicate lotus scroll, the narrow waist carved with pair of auspicious bats, all supported on a stepped rectangular-section base; together with nine gilt bronze buddhas. Height: 24 7/8 in (63.0 cm) Length: 14 7/8 in (38.0 cm) Width: 4 5/8 in (11.5 cm) Provenance: Property from a private collection, Brooklyn New York 此件佛龕⽤紫檀制作⽽成，規格巨⼤，造型別致，作葫蘆形狀，佛龕腹部⽤檀⾹⽊雕飾相對蝙蝠，與葫蘆形佛龕相呼應，寓意福壽雙全，盡顯皇家⽓派。據乾隆造龕檔案中記載，乾隆中晚期開始頻繁出現“⻄洋式龕”的記載，成為⼀種獨特的⻛格，裝飾上使⽤了“⻄番蓮紋”、“⻄番葡紋”、“⻄番花草紋”等，營造出濃郁的⻄洋情調，本件正合其記敘。佛龕內共侍奉九尊佛像，分別為“度⺟”“⽆量壽”“上師”“⻩財神”“⽆量壽”“財寶天王”“不空成就佛”“財寶天王”“⻩財神”。整體造型規整，做⼯嚴謹，法度森嚴，雕刻技藝⾼超，裝飾⼿法和題材雍容華貴。" 來源：紐約布魯克林地區藏家收藏
