The vase is boldly decorated with a continuous scene depicting 108 heroes from the classical Chinese novel 'The Water Margin', each with name above, all set in a mountain landscape setting, below a band of ruyi lappets and shaped landscape panels around the neck. Height: 28 3/8 in (72.0 cm) Diameter: 18 5/8 in (47.0 cm) 直口，鼓腹，腹部下收，圈足。全器以五彩通體繪《水滸傳》一百零八將作為主題裝飾，佈局高低錯落有致，繪畫精細，人物神態生動，每人都具有不同表情，既有草莽率真之氣，又有王霸貴冑之風，既顯閒適雅緻之韻，又呈神怪詭異之影，人物不同，風格不同，表情不同，個個呼之欲出，栩栩如生，纖細柔美，精緻入微，勾勒奇巧。從人物造型，筆墨結構，到神情氣韻，無不表現了工匠對人物的刻苦用心，其間更是穿插以飛雲圓日，山石草木。整體器形規整，體型巨大，色彩鮮豔，實屬難得。
