1760-1850 The first bottle of hair crystal, of irregular form, with flat lip and a flat foot, the green skin carved as a coiled dragon emerging from ruyi form clouds carved in low relief, with a gate inscribed Yumen, roiling waves incised around the foot, with a dramatic spray of rutiles; the second bottle of smokey crystal, of compressed rounded rectangular form with a flat lip and rounded foot rim surround a recessed flat foot, the main sides carved in low relief with bamboo and a pine. 2 5/8in (6.7cm), 2 1/4in (6cm) high (2).
