Comprising seven mourning rings featuring plaited hair bands or compartments with chased, scroll, enamel and seed pearl detail, one with a hairwork compartment set with gilt-wire initials, MB within an interweaving surround of seed pearls and cushion-shaped garnets in foiled and closed back settings, accompanied by a mourning brooch containing a plaited hair compartment within a surround of black and white enamel with gilt detail, the reverse engraved, E. F. Higgins/ died 13 Decr 1811 / Aged 62, all mounted in gold, two rings with UK hallmarks and goldsmiths' marks, four rings with engraved dedications to the inner/outer bands, one seed pearl deficient, ring sizes approx.
