Cherubs' heads in grisaille in the corners. In a wooden frame with ripple moulding décor. Size of the painting 64 x 51 cm, including frame 78 x 64 cm. Probably from the workshop of Jusepe di Ribera (1591 - 1652), born in Spain, active as a painter in Naples, court painter to the Duke of Osuna, Viceroy of Naples. Condition: II + Condition Report: Visible under ultraviolet light, restorations to the background, mostly in the peripheral areas on the left and right, and above the angels' heads at the side of the monstrance shaft. Ovales Bildfeld mit zentraler, fein detaillierter Darstellung einer silbernen Monstranz mit geprägter Hostie, umgeben von einem andächtigen Reigen von vier geflügelten Putti. In den Ecken Cherubenköpfe in Grisaille. In hölzernem Rahmen mit Flammleistendekor. Bildmaße 64 x 51 cm, mit Rahmen 78 x 64 cm. Vermutlich Umkreis Jusepe di Ribera (1591 - 1652), aus Spanien stammender, in Neapel tätiger Maler, Hofmaler des Herzogs von Osuna, Vizekönig zu Neapel.
