说明：琴几早在宋代就已出现，它与琴桌只在外形上有所区别，在功能上却无太大差别。宋代在琴几的製作上已达到了相当高的水平。具体说来，宋代琴几工艺上造型崇尚简洁无华，朴实大方。清代之后琴几在继承宋代家具传统的基础上，发扬光大，推陈出新，种类齐全，款式繁多，但此种取自天然形态之琴几亦极为少见。此琴几体量硕大，乃选百年大材，裁切根须，加以打磨而成矮几。随形几面，平整光滑，年轮纹理清晰可见，根枝旁伸，密布斜出，以为几足，其走势自然，错落有致，沟壑流畅，似流水磅礴，颇具气势。通体色泽鹅黄，包浆温润，气韵古雅。如若焚香一支，置于书斋琴桌抚弹琴筝，看着袅袅升起的一缕青烟，闻着阵阵而来的幽香，真有身入自然、物我两忘之意境。
