Potted with a large cylinder vessel, jar shape, having thick and tall potted body, sturdily potted in slight ovoid belly, heavy on shoulder gently tapered on short neck, toward opening mouth prominent, with reverse bowl dome lid finial bud, and raised on flat wide round foot base. The exterior hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against wucai design, WuCai or five-color shades and tones, brightly painted around the exterior, between the filling motif decorated in colorful vivid ground of uptala, depicted of many children playing in various pursuit on the landscape of celebration. The colors are harmonious, balanced, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye. Mark on receded white underglaze central base, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, Made In The Years Jiajing Reign Period of Great Ming Dynasty.
