说明：砚端石製，作长方形，砚面阴刻线划纹饰。天朗气清，惠风和畅，茂林修竹环绕亭台重檐，两位高士正围桌对弈。曲栏环绕月牙状墨池，其中浮雕游鸭两隻，砚堂处宽阔平坦。砚周缘刻划品茗、高吟、赏鱼、观景等雅集场景，製者施刀纯熟，以简练的线条呈现出东晋永和年间书圣王羲之与谢安、孙绰等一班文人共四十一人在会稽雅聚修禊的场景，画面繁复，布局疏密有致。砚背深窪覆手，满镌行书《兰亭序》文。砚石色泽青紫，细腻温润，呵气成晕，形制古朴，久经承传，偶有斑驳，历史气息浓郁。参阅：《故宫博物院藏文物珍品大系·文房四宝·纸砚》，上海科学技术出版社、商务印书馆（香港），1999年，页22。
