Hanging Scroll Rubbing of Zhaobo Gantang, Sweet Pear, China, before 1981, from the stele made in 1845 for a temple, with two poems written in 1845 and 1847 by Li Wenhan and Wu Chengjing, respectively, and a tree painted by Li, to commemorate the legendary pear tree, gantang, under which rests the Earl of Zhao, a model Confucian leader in the Zhou dynasty, ink on paper, rubbing 66 x 24 1/2 in.
