【题识】启超集辑句。 【钤印】新会梁启超印、任公四十五岁以后所作 【释文】唯用法律自绳己，岂必局促为人机。 梁启超生于清末，自幼即练习写白折子（馆阁体）、大卷子，此类字体以欧（欧阳询）、赵（赵孟）书法为主，他的书法最初以帖学为根基，并对碑派书法有涉猎和钟情。碑帖相融，蕴涵丰富，精神超脱，不追求个性张扬。此对联遒劲流媚，劲健俊雅，骨力内涵，以古拙厚重为质，富有情趣。观梁启超书法，正如后人评其文，“条理明晰。笔端常带情感，具有使读者特别感动的魔力”。
