A bronze umbonate brooch comprising a gilt flange with punched detailing, central cell set with a marbled glass cone, remains of catch and pin-lug to the reverse. 6.72 grams, 23mm (1"). Found while searching with a metal detector in North Creake parish, near Norwich, Norfolk, UK; in November 1988; accompanied by an old Norwich Castle Museum envelope with map reference number TF83NW52. [No Reserve]
