A glass finger ring with D-section hoop and ellipsoid bezel featuring the intaglio bust of a male emperor(?) wearing laurel wreath and holding ear of corn; two borders of pellets; raised knop at bottom of shank. 15.62 grams, 37.38mm overall, 23.16mm internal diameter (approximate size British Z+2, USA 13 1/4, Europe 31.31, Japan 30) (1 1/2"). Property of a Staffordshire, UK, gentleman; formerly the property of a London lady, part of her Swiss family's collection; acquired in the late 1980s. [No Reserve]
