Mainly 2nd century BC-2nd century AD. A mixed group of Roman and Iron Age bronze items comprising: a ribbed (Arras culture?) toggle; a toggle with bulb to each end; a disc brooch with pellet ornament; a buckle loop with red enamel detailing; a 'propeller' belt mount; an umbonate brooch; a dress pin with poppy finial; a Hod Hill type bow brooch. 79 grams total, 18-94mm (3/4 - 3 3/4"). Found while searching with a metal detector on various sites near Norwich, Norfolk, UK; in the 1980s; accompanied by various old Norwich Castle Museum envelopes with find spots. [8, No Reserve]
