A LARGE CHINESE DINGYAO LOBED BOWL. Song Dynasty, or later. The flared body with an everted rim divided into six lobes, each finely moulded with a spray of blossoms, the centre with a pomegranate, all decorated with a cream glaze and raised on a circular foot, 24.3cm diameter.
