A German Jugendstil silver and ivory pendant c.1920, marked on the bail ‘900’ and with indistinct monogram possibly ‘W' or an X’ The oval ivory panel carved with a pair of putti, playfully wrestling, within a frame surmounted by foliage and scrolls punctuated with malachite and amethyst cabochons Total length 7cm Some hairlines to the figure with his back showing, some stains to the edges. Malachite a bit dull. Natural wear to silver elements. The monogram is unclear an could be something like a W or an X, but hard to say.
