Leach Pottery St Ives, an early vase c.1935, impressed pottery seal to base An early stoneware vase of rounded form with a gently flaring neck, the body glazed a dark tenmoku glaze with three repeated iron brushwork designs of possibly a foxglove or thistle head together with a large Leach Pottery cake plate with willow tree decoration Vase 15.5cm high (ARR) (2) Note: The foxglove design became one of David Leachs' favoured patterns so this is possibly an early work by him made at the Leach Pottery Please refer to department for condition report
