Peter Pöppelmann (1866-1947), ''Reigen'', original title, large bronze group, silvered and partially darkly patinated, signed in the round plinth, foundry inscription ''Guss A. Milde & Co. Dresden''. Large group depicting two girls in light summer dresses dancing exuberantly together. In 1900 Pöppelmann successfully showed the ''Reigen'' for the first time in the Great Berlin Art Exhibition, in which the National Gallery immediately bought the bronze. H. 65 cm.
